Part 1 · Before you leave
Keys
Getting into the shed
Lock the shed when you’re done and put the keys back. Other team members may need them.
The shed
Grab your demo’s kit
- Every event has its own zone on the floor, taped off and labeled with the event name.
- Your demo’s crate, tub, rack, banner and folding table are staged inside it.
- No tent, weights or wash station for in-store demos.
- Something missing? Grab it from the supplies rack.

Product and ice
Moozy and ice
Product
Sample cans come off the store’s own shelves. Keep product on ice. Count every can used, by flavor, and send the totals to Brendan. You can keep the leftover cans, opened or unopened. Keep them cold.
Ice
In-store demo: buy ice at the store and text Brendan the receipt.
Every other event: get ice from the freezer next to the shed. Close the freezer door fully.
Running low? Text Brendan.
Part 2 · Setup at the store
Step 1 · Arrive and check in
Arrive ready, then clock in
- Arrive early enough to finish setup before the demo starts.
- Moozy shirt on, every shift.
- Say hi to the store manager. Ask where to set up. Say goodbye at the end too.
Clock in on PeopleCor
When you arrive, or when you start loading at the shed.
Step 2 · Table
Set up and cover the table
- Bring a folding table from the shed unless Brendan says the store has one.
- Set it where the store manager tells you, out of shoppers’ way.
- Black tablecloth, pulled smooth so nothing drags on the floor.
- Trash can near the table.
Heads up: the table is right in these photos, but the sample cups are too low. Fill them like Step 9.
Food safety · Every time
We serve food. Treat it that way.
Wash hands
Before you touch product, and again after breaks or trash. Use the store’s bathroom.
Sick? Stay home
Just let Brendan know as soon as you can.
Keep every can cold
Straight from the store cooler onto ice. Unopened cans stay on ice until you pour.
Watch the ice
Swap out melted ice and add more as it goes.
Step 3 · Tub and rack
One can per flavor, in a holder
- Set the rack in the tub before any ice goes in.
- One can for each flavor you’re sampling, each in a holder, never loose in the bottom.
Heads up: the cups in the right-way photo are too low. Fill them like Step 9.
Step 4 · Pull your cans
Take what you need off the shelf
- Pull only what you need for samples and the display.
- Count every can you pull, by flavor.
- Anything pulled gets counted and used. It never goes back on the shelf.
- Keep them on ice. Leftover cans, opened or unopened, are yours to keep. Keep them cold.
- Your counts go in the recap text to Brendan.
Example count · from a real Stew Leonard’s recap
| Chocolate | 3 |
| Strawberry | 2 |
| Horchata | 1 |
| Coffee | 4 |
Step 5 · Ice and signs
Ice it, then hang the signs
- Pack ice around the cans in the holders.
- Tub has signs? Hang them facing out where shoppers can see them. Not every tub has them.
- Swap melted ice and add more as it goes.
Step 6 · Table signs
Lay out the signs
- Allergen notice: required at every demo
- QR code sign
- A2A2 benefits sign
- Stickers to hand out
- Display cans on each side of the tub, cups in front.
Step 7 · Banner
Banner up, feet out
- Rotate the feet out to support it.
- Stand it beside the table where shoppers walking by can see it.
- No zip tie in-store.
- Trash can goes right next to it.
Heads up: the sample cups in these photos are too low. Fill them like Step 9.
Step 8 · Display
Display cans and sample cups
One display can per flavor on the table, with two sample cups in front of each matching can. Ask about allergies before every sample.
Step 9 · Samples
Fill every sample cup
- Be generous with samples and use your judgment.
- Two cups per flavor, refilled as they go.
- Ask about allergies before every sample.
- No sales at a demo: shoppers who want one buy it at the store’s register, so point them to the Moozy shelf.
Step 10 · Under the table
Supplies go under the table
- Keep the supply crate under the table, behind the tablecloth.
- Restock cups and supplies from it as you go.
- Keep the tabletop clear for product and signs.
Part 3 · Wrap up
Breakdown
Pack up and say goodbye
- Pulled cans never go back on the shelf. Make sure every one is counted.
- Leave the trash at the store: find their bin, or hand it to an employee.
- Say goodbye to the store manager.
- Kit back to its taped zone in the shed. Lock the shed and put the keys back in the cabinet.
- Clock out on PeopleCor, then tell your event lead you’re done.
After the demo
Text Brendan a recap
- Cans used, by flavor.
- Bags of ice used.
- Cans taken by staff.
- Customer feedback.
- Any problems.
- Photos are great but not required.
